Good is now even better - the uvex city i-vo MIPS brings even more safety to the cycle track.
Equipped with the Multi Impact Protection System (MIPS), this sporty city helmet offers added protection against rotational forces that may occur in a crash. For MIPS to function properly, the helmet must fit perfectly. That is why the uvex city i-vo is equipped with the 3D IAS system for optimal height and width adjustment. 24 ventilation channels help keep the rider's head pleasantly cool even on long trips. The safety package also includes an integrated plug-in LED, as well as reflective straps and logos.

Technology
MIPS - An angled impact generates rotational movements that can cause serious injuries. The MIPS system can reduce these rotational movements and therefore reduce the risk of brain damage.
Inmould shell - Protective EPS material is foamed directly into the polycarbonate shell. This technology makes it possible to create a lightweight helmet with high impact resistance. It provides a perfect fusion of the EPS inner layer and the polycarbonate outer layer. EPS is a material with microscopic air chambers that effectively absorb the impact forces generated in a fall.
Vent Pads - The interior features have a significant effect on helmet comfort. Vent Pads are made from high-quality, moisture-wicking material with embossed ventilation channels. They are soft and comfortable on the skin, dry quickly, and are removable and washable.
Monomatic - uvex's multi-stage, anatomically shaped monomatic comfort closure opens and closes at the touch of a button with just one hand. The chin strap always sits perfectly.
FAS straps - Fast Adapting System webbing can be easily and continuously adjusted to your exact head shape. The helmet stays securely on the head in all situations and the straps are always in the best position. The Y-divider provides individual adjustment options for a secure, comfortable fit.
3D IAS 3.0 - This adjustment system enables optimal adaptation to the head. Using an easy-to-operate wheel at the rear of the helmet, it adjusts in just a few seconds. For an optimal fit and secure protection from falls, 3D IAS 3.0 offers width and height adjustment to flexibly adapt to individual head shapes. It also features a lightweight and well-ventilated IAS adjustment headband.
Please measure your head circumference to choose the correct helmet size. It is recommended to measure with a tape measure or a cord approximately 1.5 cm above the ears.
